Micheál Richardson on the Catharsis of Acting With Liam Neeson in ‘Made in Italy`

A few years ago Liam Neeson handed his son Micheál Richardson a script written by British actor James D`Arcy. The story, about an estranged father and his son trying to get a fresh start after the death of his wife, was eerily similar to the family`s real-life experience losing Micheál`s mother Natasha Richardson to a skiing accident in 2009. The pair felt like they couldn`t turn away from the opportunity to tell such a personal story, even if it meant playing father and son onscreen for the second time.
